Here at PRN Medical Transport, employees are classified into three categories; Full-Time, Part-Time, and Per-Diem.
- Full-Time Employees: Any employee who is regularly scheduled to work at least 32 hours per week is considered a full-time employee. Full-Time Employees are responsible for at least one On-Call per week. Full-Time Employees are also eligible to participate in the Company sponsored benefits including, Health, Dental, 401k, Paid Time Off, Paid Holidays, and Paid Bereavement Leave.
- Part-Time Employees: Any employee who is regularly scheduled to work at least 24 hours per week, but less than 32 hours per week is considered a part-time employee. Part-Time Employees are not eligible for Company sponsored benefits except as required by law provided by a specific PRN Policy or applicable plan document. Part-Time Employees are not required to complete an On-Call.
- Per-Diem Employees: Any employee who is hired to perform services to PRN on a basis other than a regular scheduled with no set hours per week is considered a per-diem employee. Per-Diem Employees are not eligible for Company sponsored benefits except as required by law provided by a specific PRN Policy or applicable plan document. Per-Diem Employees are not required to complete an On-Call. Per-Diem Employees are required to be available for a minimum of 16 hours per month and must submit there monthly scheduled by the 15th of each month for the next month.

Full-Time Employees are eligible to receive paid time off each
anniversary year based on the employee's hire date. Full-Time
Employees accumulate paid time off in the following manner:
- 1 Year Consecutive Service = 8 paid days off.
- 3 Years Consecutive Service = 13 paid days off.
- 7 Years Consecutive Service = 18 paid days off.
- 12 Years Consecutive Service = 23 paid days off.
- Health/Dental Insurance: Health and Dental insurance is available to all eligible full-time employees. PRN will assist eligible full-time employees by contributing a portion of the overall cost.

PRN Medical Transport is a 24/7 medical transportation provider,
as such we offer many different shift to meet the demands of our
facilities and patient. These include: (*Note- Shifts
indicated with an asterisks * may be eligible for shift
differential pay.)
- Day Shift (08:00am to 04:00pm)
- 12-Hour Shifts, 3 Days per Week (4:00am to 4:00pm and 8:00am to 8:00pm)
- Evenings (04:00pm to 08:00pm)
- Nights (06:00pm to 06:30am)*
- Weekends (all hours)*
Positions available:
Position: Mobility Assistance Vehicle Technician (M.A.V.T) - Van Driver
Description: Mobility Assistance Vehicle Technician's (MAVT's) are responsible for transporting private patients and patients from our contracted nursing facilities who are wheelchair bound. These patient's may be transported for a variety of reasons including, doctors appointments, dialysis treatments, physical therapy or and other medically needed reasons. These employees will be responsible for the safe transport and care of these patient throughout the duration of the appointment from the time we pick them up at their resident until the time they are returned to their residence after their appointment. Additional responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: completing daily vehicle checks, completing patient care reports, obtain documents from patient and facilities, properly secure patients/wheelchairs in company vehicle. Operate a hydraulic lift in company vehicle, reading a road map, operating a Nextel radio, and possibly perform Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) on a patient in distress.
Requirements:
- Applicants must be at least 21 years of age as of the start of their first day of work.
- Applicants must possess a High School Diploma or equivalent General Education Degree (GED).
- Applicants must possess a valid driver's license and a good
driving history.
- No more than 2 "at-fault" accidents or moving violations within the past 3 years.
- No suspensions or revocations in the past 3 years.
- No DUI convictions in the past 3 years.
- Applicants must have a clear criminal background.
- No convictions for crimes of violence, substance abuse, or of a sexual nature.
- Applicants must be able to pass a pre-employment 10-panel drug screen.
- Applicants will be fingerprinted and those fingerprints will be sent to State and/or Federal authorities to ensure a clean criminal background.
- Applicants must have or obtain a valid CPR for the Professional Rescuer once accepting a position with PRN Medical Transport. *Note- PRN can provide the necessary training to fulfill this requirement.

Emergency Medical Technician (E.M.T.)
Description: Emergency Medical Technician's (EMT's) are responsible for transporting private patients and patients from our contracted nursing facilities who are stretcher bound. These patient's may be transported for a variety of reasons including, doctors appointments, dialysis treatments, physical therapy or and other medically needed reasons. These employees will be responsible for the safe transport and care of these patient throughout the duration of the appointment from the time we pick them up at their resident until the time they are returned to their residence after their appointment. Additional responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: completing daily vehicle checks, completing patient care reports, obtain documents from patient and facilities, properly secure patients/stretchers in company vehicle. Operation of basic ambulance equipment, providing medical care to patients (within an EMT's scope of practice), reading a road map, operating a Nextel radio, and possibly perform Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) with or without an Automated External Defibrillator on a patient in distress.
